Guinness

Guinness

Brief / Objectives

In order to mark their 100 year anniversary, Guinness brought their sponsorship of Jump Racing’s Championship Meeting to life through a unique brand experience in the famous Guinness Village. PixAngels responded to a brief to interact and photograph racegoers wearing Guinness branded St. Patricks’ day memorabilia, encouraging them to share their images and like/follow the brand on social media.

On behalf of Guinness, PixAngels offered race goers a complimentary personal memento of their day at the Cheltenham Festival celebrating St. Patricks day.

The team captured images of groups of guests enjoying their day decked out in Guinness branded leprechaun toppers. Wristbands detailing a unique code corresponding to each image were given to each person, allowing them to view their images on the Guinness gallery and share them - and the event hashtag & handle - around the world via social media.

Each photo was embedded in a frame featuring two graphics of the day's big race winners. As well as amplifying the brand message and reaching a wider audience through tags, likes, and followers, PixAngels were able to informally capture consumer data for further marketing opportunities.
